Bio-
j.r. was born in Arkansas, but his family moved to the north east shortly after his birth. Growing up primarily in New England, he adapted well to the aggressive nature of the culture in Massachusetts. After high school he ventured into many adventures before settling down and starting a family. Originally just a singer, j.r. decided to try to learn to play guitar, which he seemed to pick up very quickly. His first band experience came as a vocalist, and after a short run they broke up and j.r. decided to pick up a bass and finish learning how to play an instrument. Picking that up rather fast as well, he found an opportunity out west and quickly moved out to Salt Lake City. Under the tutelage of some of his old friends and new acquaintances, he started writing a solo album to show off everything he has learned as a musician since he first started playing back in 2000.
